A residential intensive training course in Denmark
Introduction: The purpose of the Course is to give those
involved in shoreline management and other projects related to coastal
zones a wider understanding of the tools and procedures available to
improve a sustainable and holistic management of the physical environment
in the coastal zone.
The course will achieve these objectives by a combination of lectures,
course notes, discussions, field trips, hands-on training in numerical
modelling and performance of simple model tests.

Who should attend the course: The target group of
participants is middle and senior managers, consulting engineers and
planners active within the fields of shoreline management, planning of
coastal development projects and port planning. It is expected that
participants would have a graduate qualification and work experience prior
to coming on the course.
The course will be conducted in English. Participants who complete the
entire course will be given a Course Certificate.
